Thx a lot, hightech!

My favourite piece of technology is absolutely my mp3.

I got it like 3 years ago, when my best friend bought herself an iPod, and decided to give her old mp3 to me as a gift. She knows I love music and I had just a discman, which is very useful and I already use, but it's not very comfortable speaking about space (too big), weight (very heavy) and you have to carry a lot of CD's with you if you want to listen a lot of music, so it was a great gift and a nice detail what she did, also I think of her when I use it.

I use it every single day during my journey to university, I have to travel like 50 minutes from my house to get here, so it's very useful and it helps me to improve the trip.
Also I listen to music on it when I'm drawing, sometimes reading (or studying), when I go to the beach or at any kind of trip. I love listening to music when I'm doing nothing in particular, just laying back on my bed and before sleep, it's very relaxing and helps me to shake the stress of the day away.

I like it because it's my unconditional companion, it makes me happy when I'm sad or depressed, helps me to relax myself and have a good time anywere, even if I'm with bad company or in a bad place. It disconnect myself from the rest of the world and "protect" me form the outside, both of them things I like to do very much. Sometimes my parents get annoyed because of that, but it doesn't really matters.

Life would simply suck if I hadn't have my mp3...I can't imagine myself getting here every day just listening the sound of the subway or other people's conversations, when there is a blackout or anything I can use it to do something fun with my little brother too, we can share the headphones and know that everything will be all right; listen to the radio and inform ourselves a little bit, etc.

In case that you didn't notice...I LOVE my mp3! ♥

Seventh Art Lover

I think that I'm a very weird person in this topic...really, I don't have a favourite kind of films, but I enjoy very much a good action movie (with content on it, of course...not just explosions and special effects) and I also tend to judge a movie for his actors.

On the other side, It's strange with terror films and thrillers...I like to watch them, indeed, but after that, it's awful (like, when I'm alone and have to go to bed...haha).

I have a love/hate relationship with the book's adaptations too. I know that they usually sucks and kill the book, but despite that fact, I go to the cinema and watch them no matter the prejudice. For example, Harry Potter movies (AWFUL!, really) I have gone to the avant premiere of some of the movies, or the premiere day...but NEVER the day after, and with every single movie I get more dissapointed, it's sad...but I'm still hopeful! (Silly of me, I know).
With The Lord of the Rings is other story, anyway. I like a lot that adaptation, good job, Peter Jackson!

I prefer the cinema, totally. It's absolutely more exciting, but I'm not sure about the 3D stuff...speaking of that, I was looking forward to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, but now I have recieved comments that are letting me down, it seems that it won't fulfill my expectatives, I don't know what's happening with Burton, I hope he doesn't fall in the cliches, it would be a pity. Anyway, Burton! Big Fish, I LOVED that movie...also Memories of a Geisha and Shine, I don't have a favourite movie, but that 3 are totally in my top 10.

You rock my world ♥

Music is eeeeverything!!

Seriously, I'm the kind of person that is ALWAYS with headphones on, singing something, or saying stuffs like "Hey! Did you hear "x" song?" "Do you know "x" band?" or "I listened the BEST SONG IN THE WOOORLD!!" (almost every week LoL), my friends always make fun of me because of that.

Actually, I like very kinds of music...depends on the moon which style I will listen each day, but I prefer rock or pop most of the time. There's some people who can't stand music in "weird" languages, but I like very much j-pop and j-rock (japanese pop and rock), a few k-pop songs (korean pop), apart from music in spanish, english, portuguese, german, french, italian, finn...and some mixes!

Some time ago, a friend of my dad showed me a very good web where you can listen online music called grooveshark.com, it's really useful! and you don't have to deal with virus and annoying things like these, so check it out =)
Nevertheless, I LOVE having original CD's from my favorite bands ans singers, DVD's and all of that. It feels like it sounds different, much better, but I know is just romanticism, haha. Well, that's why I have no problem with carrying my mp3, discman and cellphone sometimes (LoL!).

I don't have a single fav band or singer, but I really like Nightwish (kind of lyric metal finn band, it's awesome!), Muse (alternative british rock), Oasis (same thing), Ke$ha (pop!), Lady Gaga (she's freakin' good, haha), Britney Spears, L'arc~en~Ciel (j-pop/rock) and maaaany more. Now I'm listening to The Beatles a lot, thanks to my boyfriend...I used to hate them! But not anymore =)

I totally listen music while I'm working (even reading, sometimes), studying, travelling, eating, sleeping (really, haha)...I love to listen Oasis or Muse before fall asleep.

So, life would be a mistake without music.
